I have been using this for two weeks and it has been great. Easy to program and reliably dispenses food to our two cats. The portions are consistent and split relatively equally so long as the hopper has enough food in it. As the hopper gets low, I’d recommend filling it up before it is completely out as the way the food drains results in inaccurate portions as the food funnels down and doesn’t completely fill each rotating slot which means it is dispensing less food than intended. But it still lasts over a week for us dispensing 1 cup of food a day

would spend bot for better. bigger tank feed more. i have two big dogs i feed 1/2 cup each to twice a day. Alarm before dispense brings dog and start eating before all dispensed. Falls on their head and floor. Signal should be after dispensing. Dispensing to two bowls are not even.

Purchased it as a gift for a friend. This unit works very well. So I bought another one for use in a different room. One area for improvement would be a better sound system for recording and playing your message. Recording plays like its in a tunnel. However, the cats hear the call and come running. Really great as you can set up multiple feedings and it runs every day and you can vary the amount. We use it every day and have had no issues.

This automatic feeder is great! I have it set up for 3 feedings (6am, 1pm, 10pm) and each time is set for different portion drops. I recorded my voice calling the kitty cats to come get their nom-noms. It repeats my message 3 times and the volume is unobtrusive while getting their attention. If my dog gets into the servings, I can easily pop the lid and scoop some into the bowls with my hand. It holds alot and I'd guess at least a 3.5lbs bag of food. A desiccant pak is included and stored in the lid.

I bought this because I was moving and I would be working away from home for stretches at a time, so it was the easiest way to make sure my cats would be fed without having to hire a pet sitter. I have programmed it to give them a small portion of kibble throughout the day. The first time they heard my recorded voice calling them to eat was priceless! However, within just a couple days like Pavlov's cat, they come eat when called. This is also helping with their "snarf and barf" issue as they aren't given enough at one time to get sick. Also, I really like how wide the bowls are to prevent whisker stress. My only complaint is I wish the bowls would be a little higher for them.
