i’ve had this litter robot for about 3 months and live in an rv full time with my husband. i clean once a day and have only had to clean the litter box itself twice. (like a deep clean). the odor is nonexistent (which could be our choice of litter too) but we both agree it’s been an incredible improvement! the bags are quite hefty and can hold a lot of waste. i change the bag every 2-3 days, and will tell my pet sitter to change it every day when we are on vacation so they don’t forget, and it won’t add up. no problems yet.

our kitten is 6 months old (as per me writing this) and although it took her a while to get used to, she has gradually been more welcoming with having it.

the reason i am giving it four stars is because i wish it came with a bigger mat, only because the base of the robot is wide and takes up a bit of space. (i believe it’s a bit smaller than the litter robot.) and i could order one online, but it seems a bit redundant, when it could have been a part offered or at least on the website itself, which was a bit disappointing. another reason for our rating is because it doesn’t come with a couple of stairs/shield inside of the litter box! sometimes when mystic (our kitten) hood out, litter tends to fall everywhere. i do vacuum quite a bit because of this, but don’t mind. i just think it could be worked on a bit!

in fin, i believe this is an amazing alternative to the litter robot, and many on the market.
if you’re on a budget and want one, i would start with this one and get a feel for it!
